DIGI ORCHESTRA
DIGI ORCHESTRA is a kind of instrument intended for the soloist to replace the live orchestra. Thanks to the use of software and a pilot-musician who controls it, the solution is able to effectively accompany the student in learning and concert performance. In other words, it is a digital tool that will allow the soloist to have a virtual orchestra, but focused on individual interpretation and tailored to the needs of the performer.
Join us for the final webinar of the project! Starting from April 15th, the material will be available during the 9th Nationwide Conference “Virtual Academy of Creative Piano Playing”. The webinar consists of two parts:
- Final webinar: An interview with Marco Robino – the originator, implementer, and conductor of DIGI ORCHESTRA. During the webinar, participants will have the opportunity to hear opinions from project participants from Poland and Italy.
- Additional webinar:
- Panel discussion: Technology in Teaching and Practice (Dr. hab. Paweł Małecki, Prof. AGH, participants of the DigiOrchestra project).

The report summarizes the survey on a new digital solution for musicians called “DIGI ORCHESTRA”.
“DIGI ORCHESTRA” is a unique instrument designed to replace a live orchestra for the solo instrumentalist. By utilizing artificial intelligence, the solution can effectively accompany the student in both learning and concert performance. In other words, it is a digital tool that allows the soloist to have a virtual orchestra, oriented towards individual interpretation and tailored to the student’s needs.
The conducted survey is informational and educational in nature.
The objectives of the survey were:
- Gathering information to better organize the project
- Collecting information about alternative digital solutions for live orchestras used by musicians/instrumentalists
- Gathering information about the demand for digital tools simulating an orchestra
- Gathering information about the importance of the possibility of conducting pre-concert rehearsals without involving a live orchestra
The survey was completed by 200 individuals associated with the music community.
